Get Your LMS to Produce Cost Benefit and ROI Data

Learning Management Systems market has now matured and represents solutions that manage, deliver, assess both formal and informal learning. In fact most L&D departments have one or more LMS’s streamlining training delivery. This has made it even more important to evaluate training within the organization, because training is now delivered in a growing number of delivery methods eg. a course can not only be a group or e-learning module but can be a social learning, short screen casts presentation, a line manager led webinar, coaching program and web content. These can be further broken down by instructor offering synchronous or asynchronous activity eg.  All participants are learning at the same time or participants learning at their own pace. Evaluation answers the question which methods are most cost effective and efficient.

LMS Systems are very good at assessment. However, Levels 3, workplace outcomes/competency assessment and Levels 4 cost benefit/ROI Measurement are not provided for in these systems.
What is required is an online evaluation portal to ensure that these measurements are readily available to provide appropriate cost benefit data.

 LEFframework the online evaluation portal can be used to:
*                  Gauge learner transference
*                  Compare trainers and identify effective techniques
*                  Benchmark for event comparison
*                  Ensure the consistency of learning event delivery
*                  Determine an increase in Workplace Performance
*                  Identify which events are most appropriately delivered to specific eLearning environments
*                  The gathering of objective feedback from the learners, line manager or nominated observer
