LMS- Global Honors Kirkpatrick’s Four Levels Methodology
To Commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Kirkpatrick’s Four Levels of Evaluation LMS Global is offering a free evaluation of any formal or informal learning event using the LEFframework system for 3 months*
LMS Global is offering a selection of free services that include: learning event evaluation, consultancy services, time managed standalone surveys, and customized reports for your own evaluation strategy.
The LEFframework is a learning management solution designed with Kirkpatrick’s “Four Levels” in mind. It offers a powerful but flexible evaluation framework for managing, delivering and assessing the entire lifecycle of a learning event, while centrally gathering and analyzing evaluation data to understand ROI and cost benefits. Powerful, yet, easy to use, our system is designed to substantially reduce the costs of administering training evaluation by increasing the value of feedback thus substantiating the value of the learning intervention. LMS Global focuses on ensuring that all training interventions are directed at improving learner performance resulting in organizational goal attainment. Kirkpatrick’s Four Levels of Evaluation make this possible by identifying the stages of Learning and Development: Reactions, Learning, Transfer, and Results.

Using Assessment & Evaluation Data to Create Benchmarking Reports
Scenario: Three months ago your sales team participated in a training course to boost sales statistics. Right now, it’s 3 pm on Wednesday and the Director of your department is demanding a Benchmarking report by the end of the week. She wants to see how effective the training course was. What do you do?
Here’s what LMS Global did:
LMS Global was charged with the task of creating a comprehensive Benchmarking report, for *Demo Co, which documents the outcome, performance improvement, and business benefits that occurred as a result of an in-house employee learning event.
To achieve this goal, LMS Global collected data using their Assessment and Evaluation Service. The focus was to generate reports meeting the requirements of *Demo Co’s L&D team 2006-2008, by encompassing feedback and key evaluation criteria to assess the value of the training activity.
Using Kirkpatrick’s 4 Levels of Evaluation, and the assessment and evaluation results obtained from a Learning Evaluation Framework (LEFframework, LMS-Global was able to generate a customizable report which was both professional and comprehensive enough for L&D stakeholders/Directors. Since the original pre, post, and 2/3 month follow up reports were automatically produced by the LEFframework, and readily available for analysis and comparison, LMS Global was able to adhere completely with *Demo Co’s defined evaluation requirements.
The unique existing data, taken from the pre, post, and 2/3 month follow up reports, provided us with the ability to produce reports that are relevant to the major stakeholder (i.e. L&D team).
Therefore we produced two different types of reports:
~ Benchmarking reports comparing individual workshops against the relevant Cluster Group.
And
~ Average of the workshop title against Cluster Group.
These reports were integral to *Demo Co’s purpose because they demonstrated the performance of:
• individual trainers delivering the same workshop
• training suppliers wishing to evaluate their own performance against a benchmark
• Stakeholders/directors who wish to review where training has had the greatest impact on improving competencies etc.
Additionally, the Benchmarking reports were of interest to stakeholders needing to identify a higher level of business benefit. For example, which group of workshops delivers the greatest improvement?

What do you do?
If you answered:
“Compile my benchmarking report from existing assessment and evaluation data”
Then you are absolutely correct!!
If you answered:
“Pull 3 months worth of departmental statistics to compile and analyze in preparation for developing a Benchmarking report”
Then you’re wrong!
Save time, money, and frustration by getting a learning event assessment and evaluation system. Systems like the LEFframework have a proven track record and make your organization more efficient and productive without the added hassle. Learning event assessment and evaluation systems do some much more than evaluate learning events. Their reports can be a valuable resource when writing Executive Summaries and Benchmarking Reports. LMS Global highly recommends this wise investment!!
